Baiguo is the seed of Ginkgo biloba L. of Ginkgoaceae. Harvest ripe fruits from October to November, pile them on the ground, or immerse them in water to rot the fleshy exocarp (or pound it off), wash them and dry them in the sun.
Baiguo contains a variety of nutritional elements, such as protein and sugar, which can improve the body’s immunity. Ginkgo is flat, sweet and bitter.
