How we get our start?

Better Food Mood was born in April 2022, however, my journey in better eating habits and a happier soul started 15 years ago. I now hope to inspire others on how to eat better and live happier through the superfoods I’ve discovered and showing you how to add these to your diet in a fun way.

Superfoods & Herbal Teas

Hand-mixed with love, this turmeric ashwagandha black pepper tea blend makes for a wonderful herbal tea without caffeine. This tea blend contains 100% natural and pure ingredients sourced from India with no fillers or additives.
Curcumin found in turmeric powder is a strong antioxidant and is anti-inflammatory. In India, it is used to boost immunity. Ashwagandha root has been used in Ayurveda (traditional Indian medicine) to restore vitality and low sexual energy, aid sleep, relieve stress and anxiety as well as increase physical strength in atheletes. Black pepper increases the absorption of curcumin in turmeric by 2000%. Ginger aids with digestion.
This tea has a bitter warm gingery taste, perfect for winter. You can add honey / lemon to the tea as well.
Add 1 tbsp of turmeric, ashwagandha, ginger & black pepper loose leaf to your teapot and slowly pour boiling water over it. Leave it to steep for 5 minutes. Pour into your cup. Add honey if you would like it sweet. You can also add lemon juice.
For a cold brew: Prepare the tea as above, add to a glass pitcher cover and store in the fridge overnight. Add ice if you’d like.
Comes packaged in a 100g zip lock resealable bag. This will keep your tea fresh for longer and away from any insects.

There haven’t been any studies done on the maximum quantity of this tea that can be drunk in a day but it is best to use an educated guess. 1 – 2 cups of tea a day should be reasonable.
Store this tea in a cool, dark cupboard away from direct sunlight or heat (such as your stove) or humidity in an airtight container. This tea comes in a resealable air-tight bag.
