AROMATHERAPY – Citronella has a powerful lemony aroma which blends well with all citrus and woody oils and is very widely used in household cleaning products.
INSECT REPELLENT – Commonly used as an insect repellent. Just dilute the oil with distilled water or a carrier oil such as Sweet Almond Oil, add to a spray bottle and you have an instant all-natural insect repellent spray.
DIY TIP – Create an invigorating body oil with 2-4 drops of Citronella essential oil and 2 tablespoons of carrier oil such as coconut oil, sweet almond oil or jojoba.
