Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) is a staple herb used in Ayurveda, also known as Indian Ginseng or Winter Cherry. Ashwagandha has had a massive rise in popularity in the last couple of years. KSM-66 is a branded, full-spectrum root extract, standardised at 5% Withanolides and <1% Withaferin A. Ashwagandha has adaptogenic properties and is credited with supporting mental and physical capacities in cases of fatigue. KSM-66 Ashwagandha is organically grown in India and is only extracted from the Ashwagandha root, never the leaves. The reason for this is that the root is the primary part of the plant used in Ayurveda. Ashwagandha is suitable for any active person. We would recommend taking 1-2 capsules per day depending on personal preference.
