How we get our start?
Better Food Mood was born in April 2022, however, my journey in better eating habits and a happier soul started 15 years ago. I now hope to inspire others on how to eat better and live happier through the superfoods I’ve discovered and showing you how to add these to your diet in a fun way.

Superfoods & Herbal Teas
Moringa Tulsi Tea is made from the leaves of the Moringa tree primarily found in India, also known as the drumstick tree and Tulsi (Holy Basil) leaves.
The moringa tree’s seeds, leaves and fruits have been consumed in India for many years and are thought to have numerous health benefits in Ayurveda (traditional Indian medicine) i.e. relieving pain, itching, headaches and improving eye sight. Modern science has discovered that moringa is rich in Vitamin B6, Vitamin C, Riboflavin, Iron and Vitamin A. It also has all 9 essential amino acids. This may help with fatigue, skin and immunity. Tulsi is thought to boost immunity and reduce stress.
Moringa tea has a spinach like (slightly green tea like) taste. You will also experience a hot warming kind of taste because of the tulsi. You can add honey and lemon to the moringa tulsi tea.
Prepare a moringa tulsi tea to reap its benefits. Add 1 moringa tea bag to your cup and slowly pour hot water over it. Leave it to brew for 1 – 2 minutes. Remove the tea bag. Add honey if you would like it sweet. You can also add lemon juice. For a cold brew: Add 1 moringa tulsi tea bag into a glass pitcher, add water, cover and store in the fridge overnight. Strain in the morning and pour into your glass/cup. Add ice if you’d like.

Store moringa tulsi tea in a cool, dark cupboard away from direct sunlight or heat (such as your stove) or humidity in an airtight container. Moringa tulsi tea can last for up to 1- 3 years if stored well.
