Frankincense (Boswellia Serrata) is a type species of trees of the genus Boswellia of the Burseraceae family. Boswellia Serrata is native to much of India and the Punjab region that extends into Pakistan. Frankincense is a low tree. When an incision is made on its trunk, a resinous consistency fluid is released, which thickens and hardens in air. Frankincense has a curved shapeless trunk of greenish-red color, weeping branches, small leaves resembling neem leaves in shape, white flowers, and fruits are of a triangular shape. Indications: Do not use if seal is broken or missing. Store in a cool dry place. Safety information: Keep out of reach of children.
