Free from sugar, lactose, yeast, gluten and wheat. Calcium is the most plentiful mineral in the human body, with 99% of the body’s supply of Calcium being found in the bones and teeth.
Dietary intake of Calcium is important for strong healthy bones, as well as muscle contraction and relaxation including the heart, the nervous system, the releasing of important hormones and the activation of a number of enzymes for energy production from adenosine triphosphate (ATP).
Like Calcium, Magnesium works to activate enzymes for ATP production, needed for muscular energy, as well as peptides utilised for digesting protein.
The close relationship between Calcium and Magnesium suggest that food supplements should contain a 3:2 ration of Calcium to Magnesium to maximise their synergistic action and prevent dietary mineral imbalances.
