Who are we?

We founded Vegavero in 2014 in Berlin based on the idea to offer high-quality nutritional supplements at fair prices. At that time, we had become very interested in the topics of health, well-being, nutrition and exercise. We came to learn that the quality of products we were looking for just weren’t available. ENHANCE THE PROTECTION OF ALL CELLS

For our unique multiple benefits supplement we combined two natural and powerful antioxidants: bilberry and nordic pine bark extracts. Bilberry (often confused with blueberry) is the fruit of Vaccinium myrtillus. It is known as the highest antioxidant source thanks to its content of Anthocyanins (33% higher than blueberry). Nordic Pine is known to contain health-promoting plant compounds like vitamins, catechins, polyphenols and other phytonutrients. For supplement we chose 2 branded ingredients: Feno-Myrtillus and Fenoprolic. Both ingredients are extracted in Finland and come from wild and sustainable organic farming. Bilberry extract is standardised to 5% Anthocyanins while pine bark extrakt to 25% oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPC). Our product is not only natural and organic (therefore free of pesticides), but also free from additives like magnesium stearate and microcrystalline cellulose. Of course, our product is non-GMO and suitable for vegans.

EXTRACT VS POWDER

While others use powders, our product contains an extract, intensifying the concentration of bioactive substances that are beneficial for your health. This not only boosts effectiveness but also allows us to fit more into each capsule.

To determine the content of a capsule, multiply the extract amount in milligrams by its concentration ratio. For example, in a 15:1 extract, you would multiply 15 by the amount of extract in mg listed on the label. This calculation provides you with the plant power equivalent.

In our Organic Bilberry & Nordic Pine supplement, we have 600mg of a 20:1 extract, corresponding to 12,000mg of pure bilberry fruit.

SPECIALLY DEVELOPED FOR

Bilberry and Nordic Pine bark are valuable sources of anthocyanins (phytonutrients with antioxidants properties). Antioxidants can protect our cells from damaging interactions with free radicals and thus oxidative stress.

GOOD TO KNOW

The anthocyanin levels of Finnish bilberry are high when compared to other berries . It contains anthocyanins at a level that is 3-5 higher than that in highbush blueberry.
