OUR VEGAN AND ORGANIC BLACK CUMIN OIL SUPPLEMENT

For our vegan black cumin seed capsules we chose Egyptian cold-pressed black cumin seed oil from controlled organic cultivation. Making our black cumin oil supplement the only vegan and organic one on the market. Compared to liquid black cumin oil drops, capsules offer better protection and stability of delicate cold-pressed oil.

The properties of black cumin oil are attributed to its unique phytonutrient profile. We have a standardisation of 50% linoleic acid: an essential omega-6 fatty acid the human body cannot produce itself. It has a fundamental role in several functions such as aiding cell membranes. One capsule provides 500 mg of black cumin seed oil, equalling 250 mg of linoleic acid.

Other soft gel capsules are often made with gelatine from animal waste and leak easily. For our product we use vegan capsules that are free from gelatine, chemical fillers, and release agents. These innovative capsules are incredibly stable and leakproof giving a safe and clean product.

A LONG TRADITION

Nigella sativa is a widely used medicinal plant throughout the world and very popular in Ayurveda. It has been used for over 2000 years. In Southeast Asian and Middle East countries black cumin seeds have been considered a natural remedy for the treatment of skin problems, digestion or anti-inflammatory, and as immune system support.

GOOD TO KNOW

The many properties of Black cumin are mainly attributed to the presence of Thymoquinone, a bioactive compound found in the essential oil.Black cumin is also known as “the oil of Pharaohs”: its seeds were found in the tomb of Tutankhamun and were used by Cleopatra and Nefertiti for their skin.The prophet Mohammed described black cumin as the plant which “cures every disease except death.”
