NOT A COMMON RHODIOLA SUPPLEMENT: RHODIOLIFE FROM SIBERIA

Since Rhodiola is the most famous adaptogen with one of the highest amounts of bioactive phytonutrients we had to add it to our Vegavero Classic line. But as usual, we decided to do things differently. Instead of just going with any non-standardised Rhodiola extract, we chose Rhodiolife – a branded, clinically studied raw material standardised to 3% rosavins and 1% salidroside. These two bioactive compounds are not only associated with the stress-protective activity of the plant but are also an indication for the quality of the extract.

Moreover, we appreciate that Rhodiolife comes from Siberia where the plant is growing naturally, has been studied for many years and has been traditionally used for centuries. The wild harvest Rhodiola is extracted in Spain – specifically the roots as they are the part with the highest content of bioactive substances including antioxidants like flavonoids and triterpenes. Last but not least, our product is free from additives and completely vegan!

EXTRACT VS POWDER

While others use powders, our product contains an extract, intensifying the concentration of bioactive substances that are beneficial for your health. This not only boosts effectiveness but also allows us to fit more into each capsule.

To determine the content of a capsule, multiply the extract amount in milligrams by its concentration ratio. For example, in a 15:1 extract, you would multiply 15 by the amount of extract in mg listed on the label. This calculation provides you with the plant power equivalent.

In our Rhodiola rosea, we have 200mg of a 6:1 extract, corresponding to 1200mg of pure Rhodiola rosea.

GOOD TO KNOW

There are about 20 different Rhodiola species used in Asia medicinally. However, only Rhodiola rosea is characterised by a high rosavin and salidrosin content.Rumors say that Russians initially kept the discovery of Rhodiola a secret. The Soviet government hired a group of scientists to study several natural adaptogens. After many tests and studies, they selected Rhodiola rosea which had shown the most promising results. During the Cold War, they were convinced that the herb would enhance the performance of their soldiers and Olympians.
