Who are we?

We founded Vegavero in 2014 in Berlin based on the idea to offer high-quality nutritional supplements at fair prices. At that time, we had become very interested in the topics of health, well-being, nutrition and exercise. We came to learn that the quality of products we were looking for just weren’t available. NUTRITIONAL INSURANCE FOR THE VEGAN DIET

Many multi-nutrient products use cheap raw materials such as calcium carbonate, iron sulphate, or zinc oxide, which have poor bioavailability and tolerability. We wanted to do things differently. That’s why we combine various branded raw materials, which have been proven effective in numerous studies, with organic and amino chelate compounds to create a highly bioactive and well-tolerated product.

A vegan diet can offer many benefits, but it also needs to be carefully planned to ensure sufficient intake of critical nutrients. Our Vegan Essentials makes this easy by providing the nine most critical micronutrients, as well as vitamin A and bioactive folate for individuals with a reduced ability to convert plant-based precursors.

The daily serving is two capsules. To optimise absorption, especially of vitamin B12, we recommend taking the two capsules with different meals.

THE IMPORTANCE OF VITAMINS AND MINERALS

B12, B2 and iron contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and to normal energy metabolism and red blood cell formation. Vitamin K contributes to normal blood clotting and the maintenance of normal bones. Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal muscle function and the normal function of the immune system. Iodine contributes to the maintenance of normal skin and hair and to the normal function of the nervous system. Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and normal vision. Selenium helps protect cells from oxidative stress.

GOOD TO KNOW

The absorption rate of B12 in the intestine is very low. This is why most B12 supplements offer a rather high dose to ensure that the daily requirements are met.Iron is better absorbed when combined with vitamin C. Therefore, we recommend taking the supplement together with a vitamin C-rich meal.
